Once a commonplace item in most homes, the fire ring has seen quite a retreat throughout the past century. If anything now it is more of a luxury than a basic need. Keeping with its past reputation however, designers have replicated the iron cast materials with symbolic moldings and made these items quite classic. The perfect setting grounds for a quick easy grill, some marshmallow eating and story swapping.

I used it in a Chiminea.. It worked great. The only problem was I didn't receive the logs. I got bags of lava stones but no logs.

This ring is very attractive when the fire burns at night.
The only thing wrong was I ordered a 48" ring and it came at 51". That wouldn't have been a problem except I poured a new concrete patio, and had the contractor make the hole 49". So I just redrilled the holes to make it fit. Also, the ring came bare steel, and started to rust right away, so I took my wire wheel to it and put on 3 coats of High Temp grill paint, and it looks great !!!
