gives nice focus to room, could be a little bigger/grighter but nice for small room.

I was nervous when i purchase this product but was happy once i received it. this electric fireplace and TV center fits perfectly in my small front room and fits my 55 inch TV nicely. the only 2 problems i have is the color didn't come in black [...]

I bought this fireplace as a decorative item for our basement. I wanted something modern, contemporary with clean simple lines. It was very easy to put together even without reading the directions. We mounted it to the wall and luckily, there was a stud exactly where we wanted it mounted. This unit weighs about 15 lbs so you must mount it to a stud or else it will not hang properly. So please be sure to check the location of where you want to put this fireplace. Besides that, you have to purchase gel fire canisters separately for the flames. They are about $6 each and lasts about 2 hours. We really love it so far. It adds a nice touch and warm to a room.

We installed it in our master bedroom for additional heat. It has ended up being a romance booster. It provides good heat and the crackling sound is just like a real fireplace. The fuel is pricey, but if you are using it periodically it is well worth it.

The fireplace in the Music Room hasn't been used in years and fireplace fires are limited by the City to specified days. As such, this was perfect as it enhanced the mood and actually gave off heat when matched with a fireplace back plate. Better than the candlabra/sconce that I used previously for setting the mood in that room.

We had been looking at this unit for about five years in the airline magazine. IVG had a very attractive price. We have it in our condo as an entertainment center and it looks perfect. The fire almost looks real. We are very pleased with it.

I love this fireplace. I originally bought for design purposes. However, I have an added bonus of heat output. It was easy to install without worry of stability. It was the finishing to my livingroom, that kicked it up a notch.

I can't say much about this firplace other than it was easy to assemble and it looks very nice for the price. It's summer, so I haven't used it yet. I'm looking forward to trying it out, but it will be several months before I'll need it.

Nice contemporary design, looks realistic, I wish the fan was quieter or you could turn it off. The heat comes out of the unit on top and the trap door (on bottom) where the light bulbs are shows bright white light from the hinges when room is dark- so in hindsight would mount closer to the floor. (Heat would rise and you would not see the unnatural white light.) Heats a medium sized room well on high setting (there are two). There are three setting for the flame brightness. Unit does not get hot to touch on glass so safe around children.

I am using the fireplace in my living room and it heats it well. It also adds elegance to the house and everyone loves to sit by it to just relax. I'm glad I invested in it. I would recommend this fireplace to anyone who was looking for one.
