We have an especially tiny parlor (10'x12'), so we burn just one can at a time. Our fireplace is designed to burn up to three cans at once. The effect would be much nicer with three cans blazing together, but we fear that the "mild" odor would become offensive if tripled. Besides the odor, a blaze, every evening, would get rather expensive! The last 15 minutes, or so, of the blaze is not worth watching. When the flame fades to a dull blue it's best to put the lid on and extinguish the can. That last burning residue gives off an outright nasty smell, which requires opening a window for a few minutes, at least for us. Nevertheless, the gentle, crackling blaze is very soothing after a long day. The nicest thing about this formula is safety in lighting it. There's no violent "kick", as with a buffet food warming product, but a gentle, gradual ignition.

Wish the cans lasted a little longer, most last 2 1/2 hours on average. Fireplace holds 3 cans, usually use 2 and it throws enough heat to raise the room temp 5-7 degrees.

We have a fireplace in the living room and we use this product to heat the room when it is really cold. We have no basement so it gets really chilly even with a furnace. WIth the sub 0 temps in Buffalo this winter we have used it a lot.
The product is great. Don't know what we would have done without it.

This product is perfect for SW Florida because you rarely need to heat the house. I love this product because I can burn 3 cans and fall asleep and not have to worry. Easy clean up.
